Fahrenheit Robotics

First Robotics Team 6882

Founded in 2017, we welcome public, private, and homeschooled students in grades 9-12 (8th graders considered case-by-case) from Fredericksburg, Virginia and the surrounding area. We compete in the FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) as part of the Chesapeake district, alongside more than 100 other teams across the DC/Maryland/Virginia region.

Each year our students design, build, and program a ~125-pound robot from scratch to tackle that season's new challenge — starting with FIRST®'s January kickoff, through a six-week build season, to district competitions each spring.
