Fahrenheit Robotics

First Robotics Team 6882

Our Team was formed in 2017 by FredWorks Incorporated. We welcome public, private, and homeschool students in Fredericksburg, Virginia and the surrounding area. Currently (as of Jan 2024) we are a small but mighty team of 14 students, ranging from 8th through 12th grade

Each year we compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), building and programming a robot to perform challenging and engaging tasks against a field of competitors. The robot is approximately three to six feet tall, 125 pounds and, outside of a kit of parts sent by FIRST, completely built from scratch by students. After the build season, which lasts about six weeks, teams attend one to two district competitions to showcase their creations and compete alongside other high school teams.
